The Norwegian Society of Extracellular Vesicles (NOR-EV) Annual Meeting 2025
On June 4–5, approximately 50 participants gathered at Domus Medica, University of Oslo, for the NOR-EV Annual Meeting 2025. Researchers, students, clinicians and industry partners from across Norway came together for two days of EV science, networking, and collaboration.
The scientific programme featured a diverse range of topics spanning fundamental EV biology, clinical applications, biomarker discovery, drug delivery, bacterial EVs, and advanced analytical technologies. We were honored to welcome two internationally recognized keynote speakers: Bernd Giebel (University Hospital Essen, Germany), who discussed the clinical potential and translational challenges of mesenchymal stem cell-derived EVs, and Fredrik Verweij (Utrecht University, The Netherlands), who presented innovative approaches for tracking EV loading and release using optical reporters.
The meeting also showcased exciting research from across Norway through invited presentations, oral abstract sessions, and poster presentations. In addition to the scientific programme, participants had the opportunity to engage with industry partners through sponsor exhibitions and company presentations. A highlight of the meeting was the networking session featuring poster presentations, sponsor booths, pizza, refreshments and quiz.
