The Norwegian Society of Extracellular Vesicles (NOR-EV) Annual Meeting 2026

With around 70 registrations, the NOR-EV Annual Meeting 2026 marked the 5th annual meeting of the Norwegian Society for Extracellular Vesicles (NOR-EV), bringing together researchers, students, clinicians and industry representatives from across Norway for a day dedicated to EV research, networking and collaboration. As we reflect on another successful meeting, we would like to thank everyone who joined us and contributed to an inspiring day of science, discussion, networking, and collaboration.

We were honored to welcome our keynote speaker, Yuya Hayashi (Aarhus University, Denmark), who delivered a fascinating presentation on visualizing EV biology in vivo using zebrafish models. We were also delighted to hear excellent presentations from our invited Norwegian speakers, Emma Rigg (Oslo University Hospital) and Elen Telumyan (NTNU/Oslo University Hospital), as well as a series of engaging oral presentations showcasing innovative EV research from early-career researchers across Norway. We were also pleased to host a dedicated workshop organized in conjunction by the Student Network of Extracellular Vesicles (SNEV), highlighting the engagement and enthusiasm of the next generation of EV researchers. Following the scientific programme, participants gathered for a networking event with pizza and quiz. The combination of science, pizza, and friendly competition once again proved to be a great way to bring the community together, perhaps the beginning of a new NOR-EV tradition? A special thank you to our sponsors, Everest Biolabs, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Oleinitec, for their generous support in making this meeting possible.
